What does it mean to be landfill free?
Through the development of new technologies and our commitment to finding creative ways to reduce, reuse and recycle, Service Waste Inc. can make your business virtually landfill free. We process wood, metal, plastic, paper and cardboard and can even process your residual trash. By grinding several of these types of materials together we have created a material called PIRF (Post Industrial Recycled Fuel). When mixed with coal, PIRF extends the life of the coal — reducing the amount of fossil fuels needed and lowering our carbon footprint.
Service Waste Inc. does not own or operate any landfill facilities, though we do work with local landfill operations when necessary. It’s our goal to divert as much waste as possible away from landfills and to convert that waste to energy.
